Once upon a time, there was a new online music tool that saw the light of day in the beautiful winter of 2013. It was January when Chordify was festively launched during Eurosonic. Now, exactly five years later, the biggest showcase festival for European music is coming to town again. Time to celebrate!

Play along with the Eurosonic line-up

Starting at 17 January 2018, Chordify’s hometown Groningen is once again taken over by Eurosonic. With more than 300 acts, this is the place to be when it comes to discovering new European music. We highly recommend these five acts:

Sam Fender (GB)

Luwten (NL)

Nihils (AT)

Yungblud (UK)

Bad Sounds (GB)

In addition to this list of recommendations, we also encourage you to check out the special Eurosonic channel. Here you will find all highlights from the line-up, which you can learn to play yourself.

Machine vs. humans in music making

In addition to all Eurosonic concerts, there is also a large conference in which all hot music industry topics are discussed. Chordify organizes the panel ‘Machine vs. humans in music making ‘. One of our guests is François Pachet, the director of Spotify Creator Technology Research Lab. He knows everything about AI-based music and talks with Matt McVicar (Jukedeck) and musician Tjeerd Bomhof (Dazzled Kid) about the future of music making.

The 5th birthday celebrations of Chordify during Eurosonic is just the tip of the iceberg. We turn January into ‘Jamuary’: a party month with lots of nice surprises. More info coming soon :)
