The holidays are all about giving and staying true to that spirit, we’ve got something special for you all. In the coming month, we’re offering yearly Chordify Premium subscriptions at a 25% discount, which is great in and of itself, but there’s more. For every discounted yearly subscription you buy, we’ll be donating $15 to Little Kids Rock.

As you know, our motto is that everyone can become a musician. But not everyone has the same opportunities to do so, which is exactly why we’re donating to this charity organization. We want everyone to have access to music education and Little Kids Rock does just that, providing free music lessons and instruments to underserved public schools across the United States.

If you don’t want to be haunted by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, head over to the check-out page and go Premium. You’ll help make the world a brighter place and get a nice discount in the process. Don’t need Premium just yet? You can also donate to Little Kids Rock directly, by clicking here.

Little Kids Rock

little-kids-rock_20122904545_oThe roots of Little Kids Rock can be traced back to 1996 when David Wish, an elementary school teacher, began giving free guitar lessons to his students. After a short time, he started recruiting other volunteers to help him with his efforts, including celebrity supporters like Bonnie Raitt and Carlos Santana. In 2002, Little Kids Rock became a nonprofit organization and in the years that followed, the programme was extended to New York City and several other public school districts.

The charity organization has a Charity Navigator 4-star rating and is based in Verona, New Jersey. Their program is called ‘Modern Band’ and focuses on teaching kids to play the musical styles they know and love, like pop, rock, country, reggae and hip-hop, starting on day one so that their school experience is full of fun, learning, and collaboration!

So let’s fill the world with music! Rock on with Chordify Premium and help underprivileged kids to rock in the process!
