The most important event of the European popular music industry is just a month away. We are really looking forward to Eurosonic Noorderslag 2020 (ESNS). Not only just because it’s taking place in our hometown Groningen. No, we actually have a few other things that make this event exciting.

Put on your party hats, it’s the Chordify iOS app’s anniversary

It's time for a small party because it's the anniversary of the Chordify iOS app this month. We launched our iOS app three years ago on September 23 at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany. Therefore, we feel a special connection with the festival; both technically and musically.

The band Whispering Sons from Belgium plays hypnotic post punk. During Eurosonic they were our guests for a session. With the festival season rapidly approaching we decided to call the band, just to check in to see what they’re up to these days. Guitarist Kobe answered the phone.
