Summer is just around the corner! May has come and gone, which means we are back with another deep dive to find out which songs kept people jamming last month.
Summer Vibes
New to the list is Stephen Sanchez with “Until I Found You.” It’s a sweet guitar-driven song that could very well end up being the First Dance song at many summer weddings this year. Welcome to the list, Stephen. It’s good to have you!
Then there’s Harry Styles, who gave us perfect summer vibes all the way back in April when he released “As It Was.” The track was a massive hit, so we’re not surprised at all to see it made the cut this month.
Badass Sounds
There are those songs that just immediately make you feel epic, like there’s nothing you can’t do. Two great examples found their way into the Top 10 of May. The first is “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons. The band is well-known for their badass beats and powerful lyrics, and “Enemy” is a perfect companion to songs like “Radioactive” or “Whatever It Takes.”
The second one is Fleetwood Mac’s betrayal anthem “The Chain.” Singing ‘And if you don’t love me now, you will never love me again’ at the top of your lungs while stomping your feet to that hypnotizing beat is an emotion in its own right.
