Our collective jam-along favourites of April are here! Can you believe it? In last April’s Top 5 per continent we were already in the Covid-19 situation. Whilst some things didn’t change, our Top 5 certainly did, and we are relieved to offer you some fresh, fire, super duper hyper trending content!

It’s no wonder that these artists are filling the current April Top 5. Daniel Caesar has been collaborating with his American neighbour, H.E.R.. It’s exciting to see the same song in our Top 5 for the second April in a row now. Their collaboration resulted in the song “Best Part”. An amazing, melancholically hopeful and dreamy song if you ask us. We’ve already tried to jam along with their sesh, and yes, that same vibe is totally creatable at home. Especially if you sing along with it — if you dare of course! This song is part of Daniel Caesar’s album Freudian, in which he collaborates with multiple talented artists.

On top of that, we’re not far off when it comes to celebrating the start of summer in the northern hemisphere. Where will the music get the hottest this year? South America’s top performance, Christian Nodal & Gera MX in their song “Botella Tras Botella” combine the genre of R&B in a slow reggaeton twist, making it an absolute fire hit. And we can’t dismiss Baylee Littrell’s “Boxes”, where Baylee uses the typical oh-so-summer vibey Roland piano sound as the base of his song.

Lastly, and actually, most importantly, Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga did it again. Their song “Shallow” remains, giving answers to questions you didn’t even know you had. What do we mean by that? What makes music enjoyable, how do you express emotions through music, what should I feel when I play a truly amazing song? This list of questions could go on and on. The song that is featured in their movie “A Star Is Born”, makes you go through their personal experience as artists, with all their ups and downs. It’s obvious that this is not just a song to them, but a story told through the universal language of music. We’re still in awe of their performance, and we’re looking forward to many more jam sessions with this amazing song! So much so, we made an in-depth article explaining this song, you can find it here.
