How is it March already? The months are flying by, and as we’re barreling towards Spring and celebrating Make More Music March, we want to take a moment to look back at the songs that dominated the shortest month of the year.
In February, newcomer Ashe had her breakout moment with “Moral of the Story,” which was the most played song in Europe and North America, and was also popular in Oceania. The heart-wrenching song was actually released a year ago but found renewed buzz as it was featured in the Netflix film “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.”
Over in South America, Dalex has claimed the top position for the second month in a row with his summery hit “Hola.” Another familiar face – or rather, voice – is Andy Bumuntu, whose steamy hit “On Fire” was already madly popular in Africa during Jamuary.
While we love to see current smash hits such as the above-mentioned “Moral of the Story” and Maroon 5’s “Memories” in our top lists, it certainly warms our hearts that some songs simply never go out of style; like Dire Strait’s undying hit “Brothers in Arms”, which is featured in Europe’s Top 5.
