Rub of Rub back in the lead

Remember the Indonesian rockers Rub of Rub? They dominated our list of top songs in August with “Lepas”, but after that the band disappeared from our charts. Well, they’re back now with a vengeance, because once again our Chordify community has jammed the trippy “Lepas” to the top.

We totally get it, the song is built around two basic chords. If you know how to play an Am and an Em, you’re good to go! Try it out, and jam along with Indonesia’s finest.

International Teacher’s Day

Everyone needs a good teacher to show them the way. Most of us even need a few so that we can comprehend the universe around us. Our community has shown the love for one of the most important jobs in the world by jamming to “You Are the Reason”. We all know that you’ve been prepping to surprise your beloved teachers on October 5th, and we’re proud to see this track in our list of top songs.

Remarkable newcomers

September’s top songs are full of surprises, like Rosa Walton and Hallie Coggins’ “I Really Want To Stay at Your House”, featured in the Netflix sci-fi CyberPunk 2077. At first sight the chords to this song don’t look friendly at all, especially if you’re a guitar player. One click on the transpose feature changes everything, and it seems our Chordify community has found this life hack. Nice!

Now back to the remarkable newcomers. The number three in the charts is “Shinunoga E-Wa” by Fujii Kaze. This Japanese prodigy has been going at it since the age of 12 – it’s strange that we’ve never before encountered his music in our list of top songs. His work is definitely worth jamming to, try it out for yourselves.
