Imagine Dragons

The American pop rock band from Las Vegas was formed in 2008 and consists of lead singer Daniel “Dan” Reynolds, lead guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman. With their bombastic and catchy chords Imagine Dragons have managed to secure a place in the top league of pop music since they released their first single “It’s Time.” Dan, who is the only member that didn’t attend Berklee College of Music, wrote the song in his kitchen when he was dealing with depression and feelings of anxiety. The band actively contributes to many charitable causes. For example, they co-founded a charity called the Tyler Robinson Foundation, which supports young adults battling cancer. In 2014, the first gala to honor their foundation was held in Vegas. Imagine Dragons also managed to raise $100k by playing their chords at "Playing It Forward," a series of unannounced street performances by superstars, aimed at raising money for music education in public schools.
