How to use our metronome
A metronome is a device which is used to help musicians like you to keep accurate timing as they practice or perform music. It does this by repeatedly producing a sound in the selected tempo, which serves as a guide for you to stay in time.
The tempo is defined in Beats Per Minute (BPM). To adjust the tempo of the metronome, click on the -1, -10, +1, or +10 buttons to adjust the BPM until you find the tempo that feels right for the music that you are playing, or set it directly by clicking on the current BPM.
The metronome's time signature can be adjusted using the right dropdown menu, from 4/4 to 3/4 or to a non-accented beat of 1/4.
We also have some options of metronome sounds that you can choose from using the left dropdown menu. Be sure to try the drum beat!
