Knock, knock – it’s Spring, baby! Time to turn our backs on those cold temperatures and early sunsets. As we embrace the dopamine rush that can only be caused by those first warm days of the year, let’s sit back for a moment and take a look at the songs that you loved during Make More Music March.

Disney Soundtrack

Upon the release of the ultra-charming Disney musical Encanto, people immediately flocked to its irresistible soundtrack. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” previously made its way into our Top 10, and this time around, it seems like folks are obsessed with yet another track from the movie’s soundtrack: “Surface Pressure”, performed by Jessica Darrow, has a thrumming reggae beat and is simply catchy as hell.

Retro Vibes

Well, would you look at that: While a few older classics usually find their way into our Top 10, it’s rare to see so many pre-2000 songs make the cut! Next to “Hallelujah” and “Losing My Religion” – two Chordify favorites that like to frequent our Top 10 – we welcome a couple of first timers into the group.

Batman

First off, we have Nirvana’s “Something In the Way”. A surprise entry? Not really! The sudden spike in popularity can be attributed to the song’s prominent inclusion in what many already consider to be one of the best movies of 2022: The Batman. Filmmaker Matt Reeves revealed that listening to the song helped him in shaping the character of Bruce Wayne.

I said maybe…

And then there’s “Wonderwall”. How this song has never made it into the Top 10 before is beyond us. Say what you want about Oasis’ signature track: Nothing gets a campfire party going like an acoustic guitar and a collectively yelled “I SAID MAYBEEEEEE….”.

Check out the full Top 10 of March below. Happy Jamming!
