Introducing Chordify 2.0: Bigger, Better and More Awesome than Ever!

The Chordify you know and love has undergone quite a make-over! We will be officially unveiling her in all her beauty on 11 August, but before we launch, we want to give you a little sneak preview. Check out the beta version and tell us what you think!

We wanted to create something that looks great, works like a charm and is easy to use. As well as this, some great new features have been added to go along with the improved design. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do.

Sleek & Simple
Chordify 2.0 not only looks awesome, it’s easy to use and navigate. We’ve updated the search bar to give it a clearer structure and a more intuitive feel. Plus you can instantly see if the song is already in our database. If it isn’t, just hit the ‘Chordify now” button and it’ll be added in a jiffy!

As if this wasn’t enough, we’ve also expanded the chord overview, which makes it easer to see which chords are coming up when you’re playing along.

Tailored Content
You won’t be running out of tunes to play anytime soon, because you now get new suggestions based on your favorite artists and songs, which also means you will get to discover cool new material.. When you search or upload a song, Chordify will automatically suggest different songs from the same artist, as well as a couple of related acts.

Although if you do feel like rocking out to something outside of your comfort zone or just want to explore new genres, you can! We curate our own selection of songs and feature our favorites and recommendations on the website.

Better Edits
You can now share your edits with the rest of the world! With the new ‘show all edits button’, you get an instant overview of all the edits made by other users and of course everyone else gets to see your chord suggestions too.

¾ Time Signatures
Finally, for those who love a good waltz, there’s the option to change the time signature to ¾.

Phew! So what are you waiting for? Click here to try out Chordify 2.0 – ahead of the game! Let us know what you think on our support page.

Cool! Dive headfirst into Europe’s undiscovered subcultures with Palladium X The Explorers

Over the next two months, two explorers will go on a journey through Europe, uncovering hidden cultural grounds in eight cities. At each location, local insiders will show them the ropes. Through #palladiumexplorers, you can tag along and learn about your next underground city trip.

Follow Palladium here:

First stop will be Palladium’s birthplace Lyon in France. Benjamin and Philippe from Lyon’s homegrown webzine and creative agency Paperboys will guide the wanderers through unexplored territory in a city where street artists comb the neighbourhoods for hidden canvasses and producers build music venues on abandoned terrain.

Armed with a camera and a notepad, explorers Georgia LA and Emmanuel Cole will set off across the continent in search of the undiscovered. Local cultural heroes will guide the duo through the cities’ undercurrents, from forgotten landscapes to burgeoning art, food, music and fashion scenes. By means of articles, luminous photography and four short documentaries, the stories of the local uncharted subcultures are told.

The result will be an unparalleled present day digital road map, navigating Europe’s freshest underground scenes. The people, stories and cultures that you don’t normally hear about. The things you only discover when you arrive with no plans. The landscapes you find when you scratch below the surface.

We will definitely follow the explorers closely on their trip from Lyon to Antwerp, Bristol, Copenhagen, Florence, Istanbul, Budapest and Hamburg. Chordify will keep track of this outlandish journey and of course you can join on Palladiums Facebook, Instagram and Twitter account if you want daily updates. Check #palladiumexplorers to see when the explorers land in your hometown. They might need you to help them navigate the local undergrounds, so make sure to tune in and give tips! You can win some splendid prizes along the way.

About the explorers

Georgia LA
As the first female member and presenter of the online music phenomenon SB.TV, Georgia LA interviewed the likes of Pharrell Williams, P Diddy, Kelly Rowland and Jessie J, all in her own unexampled style, which echoes her past as a stand-up comedian. Ever since, the ex-fashion student from London has been embraced by Virgin Media’s music coverage, Channel 4 documentaries, fashion reports and an investigative documentary for 1Xtra. This beauty is dead serious too, blogging for Huffington Post regularly. Make sure to follow Georgia:

Emmanuel Cole
Without any artistic background or a study in photography, Emmanuel Cole’s photos on his Instagram profile gathered more than 120,000 followers in only eight months. Obsessed with basketball, the East-Londoner had to give up the sport after an injury put him out of the game for a while. When his uncle gave him a camera as a birthday present, a new passion was born. The fast pace of the city keeps Emmanuel on his toes and eager to document the urban and architectural elements of cities. His fascination for lifestyle, urban landscape, and symmetry come together on his major creative outlet: Instagram. Follow the snapshot wizard daily:
