Welcome to the final act of 2020! Another month has come and gone, and while we’re frantically trying to wrap our heads around the fact that it’s already December again, let’s take a look at the songs that ruled the world in November.

After venturing into new territories during summer and early autumn, Europe has had its eyes set on familiar faces or its ears set on familiar voices? Either way, welcome back Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. “Shallow” was one of the most enduring contenders throughout the year, and it has reclaimed its top spot. Also back for another round are Passenger’s “Let Her Go” and Metallica’s gloomy metal anthem “Nothing Else Matters.”

An appearance by Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” in North America’s Top 5 might come as a surprise — unless you’re a fan of TikTok. Thanks to a viral video, the ’77 soft-rock hit has enjoyed renewed popularity. Another ’70s hit, John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” is also back. And, because it wouldn’t be a monthly Top 5 without Daniel Caesar and H.E.R., “Best Part” has once more attracted many aspiring rock stars.

Over in Asia, people are still obsessed with Dua Lipa — who has just been nominated for six Grammys, by the way — while Africa’s Top 5 consists mostly of beautiful worship songs.

Check out the full list of November’s most played-along songs, there’s something in the mix for everyone. Stay warm, and Happy Jamming!
