The times they are a-changing’ and according to Ghostface Killah the world may never be the same again. Musically, the obvious downside of these times is that tours and festivals are being cancelled. But the creativity of artists in quarantine around the world is proving to be unstoppable, so it is heartwarming to see that new musical initiatives pop up faster than ever.

Champagne Soapernova

Suddenly musicians are left to their own devices; in the safe space of their own home, fiddling around with their instruments and imagination. This new situation applies across the board, from the world’s most famous to hobby musicians. When she saw an Italian trumpeter playing “Imagine” from his balcony, she was so moved that she started her own cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine”, together with Jimmy Fallon, Sia, Natalie Portman, Maya Rudolph and many others.

Please Stay Home
